Meals

We can provide hot and cold meals: breakfasts, lunches and dinners, to suit your child’s needs.

Early Years Funding

We accept early years funding for 2 and 3 year old’s: that’s up to 30 hours per week free childcare.

School Drop & Pick-up

We offer a pick-up or drop-off service to and from Merriott Middle School and Merriott Pre-School.

Childcare Vouchers

We accept childcare vouchers and other tax-free methods, including employer payments.

Our Mission Statement

We listen to children’s and parent’s voices and take into account their opinions and ideas. Small group time and meaningful conversations with peers and adult, teach our children to listen to and respect other people and their values. Children are taught the value and reasons behind our expectations, that they are here to protect us, that everyone has a responsibility and that there are consequences when rules are broken.

Our Team

We have a team of 6 staff: Charlotte, Jade, Monica, Michaela, Krissy and Sam.

Charlotte is the owner, manager, SENCO (special education needs coordinator), Safeguarding Lead, attends the designated safeguard lead 2 day working together in child protection certificate, and has a level 5 HNC in Management.

Jade is the Deputy Manager, ENCO (educational needs coordinator) and has a Level 6 B.A Honours in Professional Practice – Early Childhood.

All staff have qualifications for:

  • Paediatric first aid
  • Level 2 food safety and hygiene for catering
  • Level 3 in early years qualification
  • Basic awareness child protection

Food & Drink

We offer high quality, home-made healthy food and snacks.  Some fruit and vegetables are grown in the orchard by the children and eggs are collected from the chickens in the garden.

We are both trained in Food Safety and Hygiene and have recently been inspected by the Environmental Health who gave us a ‘Food Hygiene Rating of 5 (Very Good).

We all sit at the kitchen table together to eat and the children are involved in the preparation of snacks and meals. We also have great fun baking and decorating cakes!
